Are you watching the olympics? Have you been as riveted to the t.v. as I have? Hanging onto Bob Costas every word about events I never knew existed. My 4 year old now thinks that we should all go skiing with guns on our backs in case we run into any bad guys. But more than the actual events themselves, I love hearing about all the back stories of the athletes. What they have overcome or sacrificed makes you want them to succeed even more. As I was watching the mens downhill event where the difference between the bronze and gold medal was .09 seconds, I started thinking about what can happen in .09 seconds. I immediately went to the click of my camera. Because that is what I strive to do. Catch those fleeting moments that pass in the blink of an eye. The difference between having a memory forever and missing it completely.
