I don’t know what it is about my midwestern family that inspired a Spanish title to the post…
I guess too many hours in front of a computer screen will start to do crazy things to you…
There are several things I learned while doing my OWN families portraits.
1. They want to be done as soon as quickly as possible and since you are family they let you know about it!
2. Being the stylist, mother of three little kids, and photographer is a lot of hats to wear.
3. When shooting in open woods during Spring beware of wood ticks!!
But hey, aren’t we cute…

They moved to Colorado a week after we left…
it may be a long time before we get this whole gang together again…

As crazy as family portraits can be I’m so glad that we took the time to take them. Our last one was over 3 years ago! A lot changes in that amount of time!
